Widening our Xpert reach throughout 2019

While 2018 was all about growing our product range (hence the addition of 27 must-have new SKUs), the team at Xpert had a somewhat different focus for this year. Over the last 12 months, we’ve concentrated our efforts on extending Xpert’s reach and increasing overall brand presence.

As a result, our fabrication essentials such as Xpert’s high-performance Teflon, durable drill bits and rapid-cutting plastic saws have been winning over trade professionals across the country. Today, more window and door manufacturers than ever regularly rely on Xpert machinery spares and consumables to streamline their manufacturing processes.

Alongside an ever-growing user base, the number of Xpert stockists has grown too as more and more Trade Counters have chosen to strengthen their product offering with the renowned Xpert tools range. Today, Xpert products can be found in hundreds of retail sites across the country.

We’ve also put plenty of marketing support in place to give each and every stockist the means to properly promote their Xpert range and boost sales. So, as well as glossy, professional-looking brochures, fliers and posters, plus Xpert branded merchandise, resellers can also make use of our eye-catching Xpert display stands. These sturdy-yet-light floor stands were launched back in January and have proven extremely popular with new and existing stockists alike. Expanding our range in 2020

It’s been a tool-rrific 2018 for Xpert!

We had big plans for toolbox domination when we set out at the start of the year. We wanted Xpert tools to not only become a regular fixture in trade counters across the country, but also a preferred brand among door and window professionals. We’re pleased to report encouraging results with positive signs that things are definitely moving in the right direction for us!

We’ve seen sales of Xpert tools grow by 15% since 1st January 2018 and we’ve been adding new retailers to our Xpert stockists list throughout the year. That growth will have been fuelled in part by our carefully curated and continually expanding product range which saw the addition of 27 individual new SKUs last year. Here’s a recap of our 2018 tool launch timeline.

In January, we announced the arrival of not one or two but three new Xpert hand saws capable of tackling just about any cutting task. They all boast hard-point blades for a fast, efficient sawing action with a rule printed along the top edge for quick-draw measuring and marking up. The star of the show was the PVCu saw with a generous 20” blade to breeze cleanly through plastic fascia and soffit boards.

Next up were our Xpert HSS drill bits, which joined the range back in April. These smooth-cutting, high-speed quality drill bits are made of a single piece of snap-resistant solid steel and TiN coated so they won’t let you down. Available in a wide range of lengths and diameters to suit any drilling project.

In May, our Xpert 16oz rubber mallet landed in our warehouse with a ‘boing’! This soft-hitting tool delivers just the right amount of anti-marking wallop to firmly attach PVCu top caps to conservatory roofs or knock window frames into position without damaging the surface of the plastic.

Our newest arrivals over the Summer were Xpert’s duo of heavy-duty tape measures. With an extra-wide blade showing centimetres and inches on both sides of the rule, plus a doubled-sided hook all housed and protected in a durable rubberised case, these tape measures deliver mighty measuring muscle!

Xpert’s reliable mallet with a soft touch!

Continuing in our mission to support double glaziers and installers with quality essential tools they can rely on every day to do the job properly and turn out great results, Xpert is pleased to introduced their new 16oz rubber mallet.

This soft-striking tool is perfect when some carefully-applied extra clout is needed for a wide range of glazing tasks including attaching top caps to conservatory roofs or gently knocking window frames into position.
