This soft-striking tool is perfect when some carefully-applied extra clout is needed for a wide range of glazing tasks including attaching top caps to conservatory roofs or gently knocking window frames into position. The white rubber head helps to dampen the impact, thereby reducing the risk of marking or breaking brittle, fragile materials like plastic.

For machinists and tradesmen who are fed up of shoddy machinery spares limiting productivity and impairing work quality, Xpert now offer fast-cutting, high-speed steel quality drill bits that can keep up with even the most demanding drilling needs but won’t break the bank.

Made to last from a single, snap-resistant piece of solid steel and Titanium Nitride (TiN) coated to increase durability, while reducing friction and heat build-up, these professional-quality HSS drill bits can easily speed a path through a range of tough materials including steel, iron, copper, nickel, zinc, sheet metal, aluminium and uPVu. The 135° drill tip gives efficient cutting from the first rotation, while helping to reduce drill walking and ensure the holes end up exactly in the right position.

Xpert HSS drill bits are available in a range of diameters from 2 to 10mm, as well as standard and longer lengths up to 184mm, ideal for making deeper holes or accessing those hard-to-reach drilling projects.

Cut like a pro with Xpert’s new handsaw’s

Continuing our mission to bring reliable saws, fit-for-purpose tools to tradesmen in the window and door industry, we’re pleased to welcome two new additions to the Xpert range: a clean-cutting PVCu hand saw, plus a general-purpose Builders saw.

Star of the show is our brand NEW PVCu Saw which has been specifically designed with a 14 points-per-inch (ppi) fine-toothed, hard-point blade that slices with purpose through plastic to give a straight, even cut and smooth edge every time with minimal burring or chipping. What’s more, the generous 508mm or 20” blade is long enough to make light work of larger plastic building products like fascia and soffits.

The NEW PVCu Saw provides a long-blade alternative to existing product, the Xpert fine-toothed Toolbox Saw which offers similar specialist plastic-cutting performance, but comes with a compact blade that is perfect for making more precise, delicate cuts in less bulky PVCu building products such as window trims and sills.

Builders Saw

Next up to our new product podium is the Xpert Builders Saw. This burly blade boasts some vicious-looking teeth designed to rip through most kinds of building timber with maximum efficiency. The 560mm long, 8 ppi, hard-point blade delivers push-pull dual-action cutting that leaves wood, tongue and groove, plywood and chipboard for dust!

Both these new saws have rubberised, ergonomic handles, assuring excellent comfort and grip, plus a handy rule printed along the top edge of the blade which lets you measure and mark up to a 400mm, then saw without breaking stride.
