When it comes to fenestration essentials, you can’t get much more indispensable than Xpert Tool’s newest arrival – Xpert 117 LMN silicone!

Xpert is already renowned for high quality glazing tools that installers can rely on every day.  It’s therefore no surprise to see an expanded Xpert offering with yet another must-have like silicone sealant!

With its excellent primer-less adhesion to most building materials, permanent elasticity, and easy application, Xpert LMN neutral silicone is just the job for perimeter sealing around door and window frames.  It’s also suitable for use on a whole host of general DIY and construction sealing tasks inside and out!

Have a look at it’s key features:

Pleased to tweet you!

Last year, like every year, we loved keeping our Twitter followers up to date with all the latest news, views, and information from the world of @XpertTools.

Unsurprisingly, our audience of stockists and tool enthusiasts were a discerning bunch when it came to which tweets really caught their attention in 2022.

According to our reports, posts that highlighted instructive articles (such as our popular Xpert Advice column in Total Installer magazine) generated the greatest number of impressions and retweets from our followers.

With this in mind, we thought it would be useful for our customers if we brought together all our best-liked articles of 2022 in order of most popular first:

Fenestration still our forte

Any trades- or craftsperson will tell you: If you don’t have the right tools, even a simple job can often take twice as long, and the end results might not be quite up to scratch. That’s why, especially if you’re working in the door and window trade, it really does pay to choose the kind of dedicated fenestration hand tools that Xpert is renowned for.

As Window Ware’s Richard Bryant explains in the March issue of Total Installer, busy door and window installers working flat out can always rely on Xpert tools to achieve the best results in less time. The Xpert range is developed to streamline an installer’s most frequent, yet most essential tasks and perfect results, while alleviating the irritations associated with using general purpose tools.

What’s more Xpert Tools are now sold in over 300 stockists across the country, so installers don’t have to go far to find them. And with a healthy inventory and dependable deliveries, Window Ware has been making sure stocks never run dry despite multiple COVID lockdowns and the well-publicised supply chain challenges of last year.

In capable hands

Today, we said goodbye and good luck to our co-founder, Karl Williamson, as he leaves Window Ware to pursue new career challenges with leading UK profile manufacturer KÖMMERLING.

Karl has been a driving force behind Xpert Tools since its inception in 2010 and came with us 6 years ago when we moved to our new home at Window Ware. With his help, and with the support of a superb team at Window Ware, Xpert has become a household name among glazing professionals and is now sold in over 300 stockists across the country. And its popularity is growing all the time; in the last 5 years alone, Xpert sales have grown by almost 48%!

With Xpert Tools undoubtedly thriving and in capable hands, it’s not surprising that Karl feels now is the right time to move on to his next big adventure and we wish him every success in his future endeavours.

Ahead of his exit, Karl has worked closely with his Window Ware colleagues to ensure a thorough handover and smooth transition for our Xpert customers.

As always, our stockists can expect the very same prompt and friendly response, and broad expertise they’ve been used to all along.

Our sales team can be contacted in all the usual ways: by phone: 01234 242740 or by email: sales@Xperttools.co.uk

Helping Xpert stockists stay on track in 2022

Xpert Tools has been busy making sure every one of its 400+ stockists start 2022 off on the right foot and stay on-track the whole year through with free and exclusive super-sized Xpert wall planners, which were posted out shortly before the Christmas holidays.

Karl Williamson, Window Ware’s Business Development Manager, said, “Our Xpert wall planners always prove really popular with our customers, because they work hard all year, helping them share key dates with their team and plan ahead. We think they’re a great way to say thank you for their valued business, especially during a challenge year like the last!”

“Huge increases in demand and well-publicised supply disruptions meant that some of our top-sellers proved a little hard to get hold of at times. Nevertheless, our loyal stockists have done a fantastic job of supporting their busy customers during the current boom and providing them with all the tools and equipment they needed to stay on top of their projects.

`Likewise, we’ve been working non-stop to recover our pre-COVID OTIF, plug any shortages and guarantee enough stock to fully support our customers’ businesses going forward. So, even though supply challenges look set to continue, our stockists can count on us to keep their shelves stocked and their customers happy in 2022 with our usual dependable deliveries and just-the-job products!”
